Want more business? Of course you do! The chamber was approached to see if there was interest to begin a referral program. Basically, companies would sign up and spend a small amount of time learning what each business in the program wants to promote. Whenever a customer visits their business, the employees would be trained to refer them to another business in the group by recommending the item. Each business would keep a simple tracking sheet and after a period of time, the business would reconvene to see if there was an increase in sales. Moreover, we also want to know if you are interested in strategizing on how to get people driving through Fairplay to STOP, get out of there car and spend some time in local businesses. Como and Fairplay to celebrate Fourth of July with events throughout the day! Como will begin the celebration with a parade at 11:30am. The parade is dedicated to Jefferson-Como Fire Protection District. Vendors, food, live music, fireworks, and fun for the whole family are included in Como's Old Fashion Fourth of July Celebration. Fairplay also hosts different activities for the family on the fourth. Soapbox Derby, games, food, a parade, and fireworks are all taking place in the town of Fairplay. Parade starts at 3pm. |
